  1. Request franchise information
  2. Speak with Brand Representative
  3. Return Request for Consideration Form
  4. Attend Webinar with Franchise Development Manager
  5. Attend Discovery Day in Memphis, Tennessee to meet the team, visit the Training Center and view demonstrations
  6. Complete franchise application and background check forms
  7. Obtain funding through SMAC or a lender of your choice
  8. Return signed Franchise Agreement
  9. Complete Pre-Academy work
  10. Complete initial training in Memphis, Tennessee

20% discount is available off the initial franchise fee for military veterans, and a 15% discount off the initial franchise fee for women and minorities.   

In addition, franchisees should have a dedication to craftsmanship and the commitment to providing the best wood restoration experience possible.

Working capital - This capital is required prior to signing a Furniture Medic Franchise Agreement.  This capital may be needed to cover initial investment costs and capital needs of the business during the start-up phase. Initial investment costs are detailed in ITEM 7 of the Franchise Disclosure Document.

Important:  These figures are estimates, and Furniture Medic cannot guarantee that you will not have additional expenses starting your business.   Your costs will depend on factors such as: how much you adhere to the Furniture Medic methods and procedures; your management skills; experience and business acumen; local economic conditions; the local market for our product/service; competition; and the sales level you are able to reach during the initial period.

SMAC will not provide working capital funding.  Your personal banking relationship may provide working capital funding.  Furniture Medic requires the minimum working capital shown above in personal liquid assets to qualify for purchasing a franchise even if you are able to fund working capital through a lender.  SMAC financing available to qualified applicants.
