Cabinet Refacing Timeline

A Furniture Medic representative will meet with you to measure your kitchen, discuss cabinet door styles and provide you with an estimate. Once you have given us your authorization and deposit to do the work, the process begins.

Materials Ordered

We will contact our approved manufacturers with the measurements of your custom doors, drawers, surface materials and any additional add-ons you have chosen.

Order Confirmation

We will receive an order confirmation from the manufacturers that the order has been received. If there are any problems or foreseeable delays due to material shortages or size restraints, we will contact you immediately.

Production Confirmation

Additionally, we will receive confirmation from our approved manufacturers when the custom materials are being made. At this time, we will tentatively schedule the week of installation.

Industry Standards

By this time, we should receive all the materials needed to remodel your kitchen with cabinet refacing. We will inspect all the delivered materials for order accuracy and to ensure that they meet industry standards. Based on our inspection, we will contact you to confirm the actual days of installation. Installation is scheduled at your convenience.

Cabinet Refacing Begins

Our trained technicians will arrive on-site to begin the cabinet refacing process. Typically, the installation takes between 3 to 6 days to complete, but Furniture Medic cleans the entire area for your family’s use each evening.
